The campaign office of Ademola Adeleke was reportedly attacked and set ablaze by suspected thugs in Osun State.

According to reports gathered by Urbannews, the building popularly known as “Imole House” was allegedly invaded by armed individuals who fired gunshots and vandalized several properties within the premises. Witnesses said the attack caused significant damage to parts of the building.

Reacting to the incident, Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido, who is a nephew of Governor Adeleke, accused supporters loyal to former Osun State Governor Gboyega Oyetola of attempting to destabilize peace in the state ahead of the August 2026 governorship election.

Davido, in a post shared on his social media platform, expressed strong displeasure over the incident, stating:

“The most desperate politician in the world is Gboyega Oyetola. Oyetola, your plan no go work.”

Meanwhile, the National Chairman of the Accord Party, Mr. Maxwell Mgbudem, said security agencies had been informed about alleged plans by certain political actors to create unrest in the state. He added that measures were already being put in place to maintain peace and prevent further violence ahead of the elections.
