Burna Boy's Mother Urges Singer to Get Married, Have Children
Bose Ogulu, the mother and manager of Grammy Award-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy, has encouraged her son to consider settling down and starting a family.
The advice came during Burna Boy's 35th birthday celebration, which was attended by close friends and family members on July 2.
In a video from the event, shared on Snapchat by one of the singer's associates, Richie 7, Burna Boy was invited to make a birthday wish.
The Afrobeats star responded by wishing for good health and prosperity.
Before he could finish, his mother playfully added that he should also wish for "a good wife and children," drawing laughter and reactions from guests at the celebration.
The light-hearted moment has since attracted attention on social media, with many fans sharing their thoughts on the singer's relationship status and future family plans.
Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, has previously explained why he is yet to marry or have children.
In an earlier interview, the singer said he deliberately chose to postpone starting a family because of the demanding nature of his music career.
He noted that he does not want to have children outside marriage or become a father without being fully available to raise them, stressing that he prefers to wait until he can devote adequate time and attention to family life.
His mother's latest remarks have once again sparked discussions among fans, many of whom continue to speculate about when one of Africa's biggest music stars might decide to settle down.
