VeryDarkMan Claims Peter Okoye Shared Family Dispute Details Before Public Revelations.

Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has alleged that singer Peter Okoye privately disclosed details of his ongoing family dispute more than a year before making the allegations public.

VDM made the claims in a video posted on his social media platforms while responding to criticism from some users who had accused him of previously defending former P-Square manager, Jude Okoye, during discussions surrounding singer Cynthia Morgan.

According to VDM, many people misunderstood his earlier comments and even accused him of receiving financial inducement to support Jude. He denied the allegation, insisting that there was more to the story than many people knew.

The social media activist claimed that Peter Okoye invited him to a meeting at a hotel in Lagos in 2025, where the singer allegedly spent more than three hours explaining the circumstances surrounding the family's internal dispute.

According to VDM, Peter presented him with bank records, financial documents and other materials, which he said were intended to support allegations that his financial entitlements had been diverted and that he had been unfairly treated in the management of the group's affairs.

VDM further alleged that Peter discussed the ongoing legal dispute involving Jude Okoye and claimed that some properties linked to the case could eventually be affected by the outcome of the court proceedings.

He also claimed that Peter spoke extensively about his relationship with his twin brother, Paul Okoye, and shared details of disagreements involving other members of the family.

According to VDM, Peter further alleged that rapper Phyno and singer Cynthia Morgan possessed information relating to the dispute and could potentially play significant roles in the ongoing legal proceedings. However, these claims have not been independently verified.

VDM said the conversation left a lasting impression on him, describing it as one of the most emotional and detailed private discussions he had ever had with the singer.

He maintained that his previous public comments regarding the dispute were based on the information available to him at the time and insisted that he had never been paid to defend any member of the Okoye family.

The latest claims come as Peter Okoye continues to publicly address his long-running dispute with his brothers, Paul and Jude Okoye, through a series of social media posts and legal actions.
