Ngozi Nwosu Appeals for Help as She Faces Multiple Surgeries

Veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has made an emotional appeal to Nigerians for financial support as she battles a serious health condition that requires urgent medical intervention.

In a video shared on her Instagram page, the actress was seen speaking from a hospital bed, revealing that she has been admitted for about three weeks and is enduring severe pain.

Although she did not disclose the nature of her current illness, Nwosu said she still has three surgeries ahead of her and appealed to fans, colleagues, friends and members of the public to come to her aid.

According to the actress, the medical procedures are life-saving, and she fears the consequences if she is unable to undergo the necessary treatment.

In the accompanying message to the video, Nwosu described the decision to seek public assistance as a difficult one but said she had no choice because of the urgency of her condition.

She appealed to well-wishers not only to contribute financially if they are able but also to help share her appeal so it can reach more people.

The veteran actress disclosed that the estimated cost of the surgeries is ₦30 million and provided her Moniepoint Microfinance Bank account details for those willing to support her treatment. She also advised anyone seeking further information to contact her legal representative or management.

Nwosu previously faced a major health challenge in 2012 when she was diagnosed with kidney-related complications and a heart condition, a battle that attracted support from colleagues and fans across the entertainment industry.

Her latest appeal has once again drawn attention to the health and welfare challenges faced by some veteran actors in Nigeria's film industry.
